
Biography
As the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Hudson Link, Sara is responsible for the organization’s advocacy efforts, policy initiatives, communications, special projects, and other strategic goals. Since joining Hudson Link in 2021, she has played a key role in expanding outreach to amplify the voices of students and alumni, including her leadership in producing the successful “Beyond the Block” speaker series, the Turn on the TAP campaign, and facilitating the New York State Consortium of Higher Education in Prison. Before her time at Hudson Link, Sara served as a Community-Based Learning Coordinator and Educational Opportunity Counselor at Dutchess Community College, and she has held leadership positions as a community organizer with the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG). Sara earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from SUNY Binghamton and her Master of Social Work from the University at Buffalo.

Fun Fact: Sara loves movies, meditation, and reading – she once read 60 books in a single year.
