Ismael Diaz, a Hudson Link graduate, spoke at Mercy University’s 2016 commencement, earning a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science with Honors. He credits Hudson Link for providing opportunities that transformed his life. His leadership and advocacy for the #CleanSlate movement helped pass legislation in New York State to seal prior records for eligible formerly incarcerated individuals. As a Community Organizer at the Center for Community Alternatives, Mr. Diaz continues to champion justice and equality, while serving on Hudson Link’s board. A native of New York City, he enjoys family time and exploring new opportunities with resilience.
