After attending a 2013 graduation at Sing Sing, Lisa Wells and her husband were inspired by Hudson Link’s mission, leading her to join the board. She is inspired by students who seize educational opportunities to transform their lives and others’. Originally from Virginia, she spent most of her career in New York City, retiring after 34 years in law, primarily with JPMorgan Chase & Co. Wells holds degrees from the University of Virginia, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Sweet Briar College, and has taught at multiple educational levels. She chairs the Board’s Academic Program Committee, serves on the Alumni Services Committee, and engages with Hudson Link’s pre‑college program and Beyond the Block series.
