Annette Johnson has supported Hudson Link for years and joined the Board of Directors in 2010, advocating for a rehabilitative prison system through education. Since 1999 she has led the Prisoners Reading Encouragement Project, providing free educational materials to New York State correctional facilities, and supports numerous prison education programs. She also sponsors Literacy for Incarcerated Teens and the Learning Center for Women in Prison. Additionally, she contributes to CURE‑NY and the Prison Policy Initiative. Professionally, she is Senior Vice President, Vice Dean, and General Counsel at NYU Langone Medical Center, overseeing legal matters and compliance.
