Biography
Ann Jacobs has dedicated over 50 years to advancing social and racial justice by reforming the criminal legal system and expanding opportunities for impacted people. Retired from CUNY in 2022 after 12 years as Executive Director of the John Jay College Institute for Justice and Opportunity, she now serves on Hudson Link’s board. Previously she led the Women’s Prison Association for more than 17 years and held leadership roles in justice organizations in New York City and Washington, DC. She currently works part‑time as a grant writer and strategic advisor for All Kings. She enjoys bebop jazz, dogs, jigsaw puzzles, and nature.
